  • Manager - Presales/Solution Architecture

    Business Applications

London, Greater London, South East, England

    £130000 - £140000 per annum, Benefits: + £50K - £60K OTE

Manager - Presales / Solution Architecture
    £130K - £140K base + £20K - £30K performance bonus & additional up to £25K SLT bonus!

We’re seeking a skilled and visionary Manager of Presales / Solution Architecture to lead and evolve a team of Solutions Architects. You’ll play a key role in driving technical excellence across all pre-sales engagements, from solution scoping and proposals to demos, presentations, and bid responses. The role leans more towards that of a management profile, so as long as you possess an understanding of the presales process but enjoy more of the motivational management piece, then this is the role for you!

This leadership role blends technical depth with commercial acumen, requiring experience across enterprise IT, cloud, managed services, and vendor-agnostic solution design — ideally within a value-added reseller (VAR) or managed service provider (MSP).

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing presales/solution architecture team.
    • Drive solution design, technical proposals, and RFP responses aligned to customer needs.
    • Collaborate with Sales and Technology teams to shape go-to-market offerings.
    • Ensure high standards across all customer engagements and technical deliverables.
    • Stay current on emerging technologies and foster innovation across the team.

    Ideal Candidate:
    • Strong experience in presales or solution architecture leadership within a VAR/MSP.
    • Deep knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, and broader enterprise IT solutions.
    • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Commercially aware, technically sharp, and vendor-neutral in approach.

    Location:
Hybrid role with occasional travel to customer or office locations. Candidates should be based within commuting distance of Central London.
